Inland residents paused on the holiday, Monday, Jan. 15, to salute the memory and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr.

From San Jacinto and Murrieta to Riverside and Redlands, participants walked miles, listened to speeches and reflected on King’s legacy, saying it was up to all to act now to keep it alive.

Riverside event marks 25 years

Hundreds showed up on a sunny morning, Monday, Jan. 15, for the 25th annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Walk-a-thon.
