Martin Luther King Jr.’s march for justice continued in Riverside Monday, Jan. 21, as a large crowd covered 5 kilometers with chants and song.

The 26th annual walk-a-thon, with the theme “Walking for Peace and Justice,” started at the Stratton Community Center and ended at Riverside City College, where speakers addressed the continuing need for activism. This year’s honorees were Assemblywoman Sabrina Cervantes, Judge Irma Poole-Ashberry, Rep. Mark Takano, D-Riverside and Justice Richard Fields.
