Virtual Groundbreaking: Civil Rights Institute of Inland Southern California

Set aside about a minute and a half this coming Thursday, May 30, as the Civil Rights Institute of Inland Southern California breaks ground right here on this page.
The facility, on the main floor of the Mission Heritage Plaza project, includes the Bank of America Diversity Center conference facility, the RAAHS Exhibit Center for changing civil rights exhibits, and Altura Media Center for multimedia recording.

“We decided to spare everyone the gold shovels and bad coffee,” explained Civil Rights Institute Board President Ron Loveridge. “But we did want to give special guests a chance to celebrate the project with the public.”

In addition to the Civil Rights Institute, Mission Heritage Plaza is 72 units of affordable housing, new offices for the Fair Housing Council of Riverside County located at the corner of Fairmount Boulevard and Mission Inn Avenue in Riverside California.
